- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 1/2 cup Gordo’s Cheese Dip (any variety), microwaved for 2 minutes or until pourable
- 2 cups shredded turkey meat
- 4 slices sourdough bread, lightly toasted
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- about 16 slices fresh or pickled jalapeño
- 1/2 cup roughly chopped cilantro or parsley leaves, optional
- 1/2 cup cooked chopped bacon, optional
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. In a small bowl combine Gordo’s cheese dip and turkey, stir until combined. Place bread onto a sheet pan with sides. Place 3/4 cup turkey mixture onto each slice of bread. Sprinkle cheddar cheese and jalapeños evenly over each sandwich. Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is toasted and turkey is heated through. Remove from oven and top with cilantro, parsley, or bacon if desired.
