(Makes 12 sliders)
1 pound lean ground beef
1 (1-ounce) package taco seasoning
1 (12-count) package Hawaiian rolls
1/2 cup shredded cheese
3/4 cup Gordo’s Cheese Dip, any variety
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 teaspoon dried cilantro
1 cup shredded lettuce, optional
1/2 cup pico de gallo, optional
1/2 cup guacamole, optional
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F. In a large (12-inch) skillet over medium high heat, cook ground beef with taco seasoning until fully cooked, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside. In a small bowl combine melted butter and dried cilantro.
Do not split the rolls into individual rolls. Using a large serrated knife cut the entire package in half, splitting all the rolls into tops and bottoms. Put bottom half of rolls onto a sheet tray lined with parchment paper or foil. Place the cooked beef onto the bottom half of the rolls, sprinkle with shredded cheese, spoon Gordo’s Cheese Dip evenly over the meat.
Top with remaining half of the rolls.
Brush tops of rolls with melted butter and cilantro; bake assembled sliders for 10 minutes or until bread is golden and cheese begins to melt.
Slice into individual sliders and serve topped with lettuce, pico, or guacamole, if desired.
